SESSION 1

SESSION 2

SESSION 3

 An Introduction to Christian Thinking

Content of the 3 Sessions:

SESSION 1 – Into the Lair: The Dragons of Doubt, Despair, and Disillusionment

We will explore what Christians are up against when it comes to the life of the mind.  We will survey some of the popular atheistic texts (the big names of the movement and the “de-converts”), music, TV, and movies that attempt to persuade us that faith is just believing in something that is unreal

SESSION 2 – Unicorns, Pixie Dust, and Happy Thoughts: Why Truth is True for All People

This one will explore why phrases like, “what is true for you is not necessarily true for me” are totally false.  We will get a little deeper by looking at the laws of logic and the nature of truth itself.

SESSION 3 – Armed and Dangerous: How We Can Know What we Believe is Actually True

This last talk will show the the relationship of knowledge and belief and will give Christians confidence in their faith.  I believe it would also challenge any unbeliever by demonstrating that Christianity is not just for the weak or ignorant.
